Rental terms and conditions

At the time of reservation the tenant shall pay a non-refundable 50% security deposit of the total rental price by credit card. Our payment & cancellation policy as well as our rental terms and conditions are effective immediately at the time of the reservation. The remaining balance of 50% must be paid 12 weeks before arrival. If you wish to cancel the reservation the non-refundable deposit is forfeited. All cancellation requests must be received in handwriting by registered mail prior to the full payment due date. No refunds are given for early depatures.

The security deposit has to be paid before arrival and will be refunded to your bankaccount according to French Law on Holiday Rentals.

 

It is the renter's sole responsibility to inspect the property upon arrival making sure it is free of hazards. The number of persons present overnight and during the day on the property shall not exceed the totall number of 15 guests (adults and children), without pior authorization from the owners. There shall be no camping, tenting, or otherwise placing auxiliary accommodation facilities on the property.

 

The owners do not accept liability for any possible injuries received in the grounds, even if not caused by irresponsible behaviour. The renter is solely responsible for damage and their personal property left in and about the castle.

 

The owner reserve the right to request proof of a home/contents insurance of each renter to demonstrate that any damage made at the property will be covered by the renter's home/contents insurance.

 

In all cases extra costs will be charged in case of non-abservance.
